Yoga and Writing

Hi, I'm Diana Diaz, a 500 RYT yoga teacher with advanced certifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Accessible Yoga, Holistic Sound Healing, Yoga Philosophy, Healing Relationships, and Yoga for Stress Management among others.

I'm also a writer, specializing in personal essay, memoir and creative non-fiction. I've spent most of my writing career in memoir. I’ve ghostwritten articles, blogs and books. As a writing coach and teacher, and have guided hundreds of people express themselves through college entrance and career interview essays.

As a professional memoirist myself, I know the hard and sometimes uncomfortable work it takes to put the most vulnerable parts of your life onto the page. I conduct workshops and retreats that combine the grounding and inner awareness of yoga with the discipline and self-reflection of writing.

I believe that writing your story – be it a memoir, essays, poems, or even communal anthologies – can be a profound journey of self-discovery and healing. I’m passionate about helping you discover the freedom, healing, and wholeness that come from understanding and sharing your unique narrative with the world. I can't wait to embark on this journey with you.

The yogic practice allows us to embrace vulnerability in writing through the safety and strength of our Inner Peace.
